Solution is to install maintainer version of all files and then marge them with the original
then Remove your virtual server and install it again.
Before you do make sure you have a full backup I use Dublicator Pro, but feel free to use whatever you’d like. My Ubuntu is VM and it’s easy to revert a snapshots back, but if you have none-VM I do not know how to backup and restore when something goes south. You should probably ask the creators of Virtualmin and Ubuntu
But that’s how I solve my problem with my setup
P.S I never test it but could work the same. If you remove the virtual server before you Upgrade Ubuntu to 22.04 I will do it on the next Ubuntu version
As far as I can find 24.04 LTS is full of bugs that’s why is not offered as an upgrade to 22.04 LTS
It said that will be available when 24.04.1 LTS is ready and what will be September
Good luck to all. You are going to need it
