Hi, I’m trying to install Virtualmin, but I’m getting “curl: (28) Failed to connect to software.virtualmin.com port 443 after 133910 ms: Couldn’t connect to server”

root@vmi2294393:~# sudo sh -c "$(curl -fsSL https://software.virtualmin.com/gpl/scripts/virtualmin-install.sh)" -- --bundle LAMP
curl: (28) Failed to connect to software.virtualmin.com port 443 after 135871 ms: Couldn't connect to server

Using HTTP Connectivity Test it’s Failed

Hello,

Thanks for the heads up!

Yes, we’re aware of the issue—the webserver on software.virtualmin.com went down. Unfortunately, I don’t have access to that server yet, so we’ll have to wait for @Joe to wake up to fix it.

If @Joe could be so kind and also update the repos to the newest virtualmin release, they were still on 7.20… before

Is there any other source to get this software?

Hi guys, the server is still down.

Can we run the install script off of the Git repo?

Now it’s working for everyone. You can try it now

There’s a saying, “It will be OK in the end, if its not OK, its not the end”
