thunderbird deletes all subfolders on the local disc and does not sync them again.
Which Thunderbird version (there have been quite a few updates recently)
and beware of T’bird Extensions/Add-ons (some are in catchup mode ie slow)
it looks more like a problem with dovecot or imap…
with the old server ubuntu 22 i get all the folders…
the client is thunderbird. I’ve the same problems on Windows and Ubunu …

found what you mean. all the subfolders where unchecked
