The mailman queue processor /usr/lib/mailman/bin/qrunner is not running on your system.

I get this issue because Mailman is not started:
The mailman queue processor /usr/lib/mailman/bin/qrunner is not running on your system. It can be started in the Bootup and Shutdown module.

Do I need Mailman? We have email accounts on servers, but not using any mailing list manager. So should I follow the instructions and enable it? Or if I dont need it how do I get rid of the issue?

Thanks

Howdy,

Nope, you don’t need that running.

But it sounds like Virtualmin is configured to use that still.

You can fix that by going into System Settings -> Features and Plugins, and in there you can disable the Mailman feature.

Thanks will try it!

If you see this message and would like mailman running:

Webmin > Servers > Virtualmin Mailman Mailing Lists

You will see: Warning - Mailman will not operate properly unless a list named mailman has been created. Use the form below to create it now.

Add an email and password, click create.

You should disable mailman service too. I don’t know why Virtualmin only disable qrunner with that setting and not the whole mailman.
