Hi,
i’ve created a subdomain with virtualmin but my web browser redirect me to principal domain.
In the dns i’ve: www.mydomain.it with a public ip.
sub.mydomain.it with the same ip of www.mydomain.it
In the public_html of subdomain i’ve created a html page.
any ideas?
Sounds that the problem is not a DNS problem since sub.mydomain.it is resolved when you make an http request.
May be a problem of missing virtual host declaration in Apache configuration. I would suggest you to point your browser to virtualmin and then to :
sub.mydomain.it -> Services -> Configure Website
to check if Apache settings for sub.mydomain.it are those you expect…
