Stupid versioning question

hello all -

i am still working on installing on RL-10, so far the results are excellent, including csf

really dumb question: when i specify –branch rc on my test server, i am seeing the same version numbers as i see on my production server.

or is it that the version really is 7.50.0-rc-# and i am not seeing it?

note: i am waiting a few more weeks before php 8.5 is formally released before beginning th migration, supposedly due out Nov-20th.

This is a good question because I agree it’s somewhat confusing.

All those builds in Virtualmin RC repos are exactly the same as in production, and the versions are the same too. The difference is that Joe builds differently for production repos, but we might, and hopefully will, change that for Virtualmin 8.
