Probably useful for some but there is a bigger picture here. If fans are unstable as described or high risk - hardware is most likely old or ISP donāt have monitoring capabilities in place. If that was me, I would have probably enabled an external modem and sms facility to ping me if fan issues. A dedicated ssh tunnel (so scripts can be used remotely) would have also assisted to keep an eye on things.
Guess people have different needs. As an example, I like the cpu temperature being shown - but itās more of a curiosity. It worked on my xeon cpu but not on my present amd chip. I miss it but itās not critical - if the latter, I would have put in some proper monitoring tools in place.
Anyways each for their own. You will have your fans in the next release so be happy
