server admin quota not counted on total quota

Hello,

Today one of my client’s complain that he couldn’t update to his server because there was not enough space. But, he looked at his total quota and it was barely 50% of his total quota.

I looked into it and saw that his administrator quota exceeded the total quota. So the administrator is not counted at the total quota. Servers are SL 6.4 with VM GPL.

Can I Change that?

That should count towards the quota… it’s possible that the quota managed to get out of sync.

Try going into Limits and Validation -> Check Disk Quotas, and run “Check Disk Quotas”.

Click the “Check Now” button, and then see if the disk quotas look correct at that point.
