My server hosted certain number of virtual domains which shared one single ip.
Is it possible to use single cert and ip for all virtual domains for smtp sasl authentication ?
ps currently all sasl auth are plain text. I knew it is dangerous.

Sure, it’s no problem to have all your users perform SASL authentication on one single IP, which contains one SSL certificate.
