[Resolved] Forums in read only mode for a couple of hours for data migration

Howdy all,

I’m putting the forums into read only mode for the next couple/few hours while I migrate to a new Discourse-based forum (fingers crossed…I’ve tried to make this switch once before but found some problems with the previous migration, which I think I’ve now sorted out).

If all goes well, we’ll be on a new and much more powerful and nice to use forum before the night is done.

Forums are now back online, and have been migrated to Discourse!

There will likely be lots of fun new quirks we need to sort out, but, as far as I can tell SSO (Single Sign-on) from Drupal accounts is working OK.

It’s 4:38AM, and I’ve been at this for at least six hours (and I started super late), so it’s time to call it a night. I’ll tackle any problem in the morning. Y’all try not to break anything over the next 8-10 hours. :wink:
