Re-Check Configuration... MySQL Error

@staff,

I was recently doing some work in Virtualmin and it prompted me to run “Re-Check Configuration”.

It presented the following error:

MySQL does not appear to be installed and running on your system, or has not yet been set up properly in Webmin’s MySQL Database module. If your system does not use MySQL, it should be disabled in Virtualmin’s module configuration page

Normally this wouldn’t concern me, as it seems pretty straight forward. However in this particular case, I utilize “Remote MariaDB Server” and have intentionally disabled the “Local” server.

Is this a bug in a recent release as it never used to complain about my setup?

This is a fair complain, as services more and more moving to the clouds. This patch will fix your issue.
