Procmail rejecting mail from old cPanel Server

SYSTEM INFORMATION
OS type and version Ubuntu Linux 22.04.1
Webmin version 2.001

Hi,
I still have 1 client on my old cPanel Server, and she has an issue sending email to me on my new Virtualmin Server. Here is the error-

Nov 8 15:41:21 host dovecot: pop3(me@domain.com)<27412><5cTXJu7sEu6fxJxH>: Disconnected: Logged out top=0/0, retr=0/0, del=0/449, size=36657464
Nov 8 15:44:09 host postfix/local[27593]: EB00B809C6: to=< me-domain.com@host.domain.com>, orig_to=< me@domain.com>, relay=local, delay=0.7, delays=0.5/0.02/0/0.18, dsn=5.3.0, status=bounced (Command died with status 132: “/usr/bin/procmail-wrapper -o -a $DOMAIN -d $LOGNAME”. Command output: Illegal instruction (core dumped) )

Oddly, when she sends an email to support@domain.com it works, even though that email address is hosted on the same (new virtual min) server

Where can I start debugging this please?

I spent a bit of time looking at stuff and failing to understand it, but in the end

  • I turned off address rewriting rules
  • rebooted the server

and this seems to have fixed it.
To be clear, running some updates is probably what caused the error, I should have rebooted sooner

Well, it’s broken again- my wife told me this afternoon that her email from iCloud is getting rejected.

Here’s the last few error messages- can anyone tell me what this means please?

I did notice that the config was different on my Server to the example given here-

https://www.virtualmin.com/documentation/installation/manual/

So I changed it to that and rebooted. I hope that’s it because I have no idea what it does… but I have tested it with an iCloud email and it did work do I’ll keep my fingers crossed

Cheers

A
