this is the error i get

Thats not a error, thats the suggested dns records, mine looks the same.

oh right because this is what is showing up on mxtoolbox

yeah, some work to do. create a A record for mail like in the suggest DNS. Using the DNS Record dropdown I see 127.0.0.1, please remove that A record, the rest of the world don’t need to know that, even though there is one in the suggested.

ok how do i remove them on namecheap as well as virtualmin too

you don’t need to touch Virtualmin, they just suggested dns records and you can’t edit it. Thats Virtualmin just suggesting what records you should add to the working DNS server.
You can add other records you want. As if you want to send mail, you will also need to add SPF, DKIM and DMARC records.

oh right ok i understand now sorry im a bit slow at learning things as i have a learning disabilaty

but im still willing to learn new things and not letting it stop me too no matter how hard things are

this is what i have setup on my namecheap dns server so far

select add record and add all the missing records from the suggested records. don’t bother with the 127.0.01 record though.

ok thank you
