if I understand correctly publishing with Blogger.com to my virtual server via SFTP is basically using the SSH service. Whilst I’m able to log on to for a secure file transfer form several programs without problem, Blogger.com fails.
The authentification log says:
Did not receive identification string from 64.233.166.xxx
My suspicion:
Blogger seems to send [[email address]]@[[domain.name]] instead of [[email address]] as UserID. As Blogger.com automatically adds @[[domain.name]] I can’t make changes to the Blogger.com settings. Can I set up SSH to accept the full userID? I also failed with [[email address]]@[[domain.name]] with other programs while [[email address]] works…
