Hi I have a problem connecting with FTP to virtual hosts. Proftpd seems to work but when I connect I cannot read the contents of the folders and I get this error <Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity The contents of the folder could not be read>

I don’t think you should enable Jails, that why he was asking.
Did you have any failed logins? Maybe fail2ban is blocking.
I noticed that if I stop the firewallD and reactivate it everything works, I can connect via FTP and view the folders. But when I start uploading files after a while it stops and I can’t upload anymore … why?
Jail setup has a history of causing FTP along with other issues due to its default restrictive nature. Jails could be configured to address this issue, but personally I haven’t really invested the time in figuring out what needs to be adjusted to do so.
