Problem sending mail

Hello. well i was doing a new install in a new server with new ip but after all of this now i cant send mail. i get this

every one in queue is listed as deferred. im not im a nat or blacklisted (i already check it). and this is the far that my knoledge let me to see errors.

ah also i can ping to all those ips from putty, and linux firewall is setup to let smtp pass. sorry for my bad english im in a hurry and cant verify every word

Howdy,

Well, it looks like you’re dealing with a firewall issue of some sort… either there’s a firewall setting within your own server/LAN that’s blocking port 25, or maybe your ISP is blocking that port.

If you’re sure that the issue isn’t on your end, then you may need to contact your ISP to see if they’re blocking port 25.

well i have another server in same place, with same isp, with same method installation but is the same. i will contact they then but im sure that will say something like (theres no NAT u are directly conected to the itnernet). Theres another test that i can do?

Well, it doesn’t matter if there’s NAT or not… some ISP’s or datacenters block outgoing port 25.

However, if it’s not your ISP, it could be your own server.

Just to verify though – do you see this issue with all mail servers? Or just this one?

One thing you could do is double-check your firewall rules… what is the output of this command:

iptables -L -n
