ProFTPD Version: 1.3.5e
Suddenly started facing FTP Login problem with every ftp account on the server
without any reason I think
Anyway I tried to dig out the logs which are as under
/var/log/messages
Mar 12 05:33:25 server proftpd[10737]: serverIP
(119.158.102.28[119.158.102.28]) - FTP session opened.
Mar 12 05:33:25 server proftpd[10737]: serverip
(119.158.102.28[119.158.102.28]) - mod_auth_pam/1.2: PAM(myusername): System error
Mar 12 05:33:25 server proftpd[10737]: serverip
(119.158.102.28[119.158.102.28]) - FTP session closed.
/var/log/secure
Mar 12 05:36:27 server proftpd[11505]: serverip
(119.158.102.28[119.158.102.28]) - USER myusername (Login failed): Account disabled
Whereas the account is not disabled
Any suggestion will be appreciated
