Recently i install fresh virtualmin on ubuntu 18. but when i enter root and password, i got error Warning!
Login failed. Please try again.
i do everthing as mention but not able to login please help i’m new user of it

If you have CLI access to your Ubuntu system, try:
/usr/libexec/webmin/changepass.pl /etc/webmin root password
Where password is the Webmin password you wish to use henceforth.
i try it but it’s not working
it says “-bash: /usr/libexec/webmin/changepass.pl: No such file or directory”
Please try
/usr/share/webmin/changepass.pl /etc/webmin root password
I think I was mistaken earlier, sorry.
Ubuntu does not have a password set for the root user by default. Login in as the sudo user you installed Ubuntu with or set a password for root.
