The screen shouldn’t live long once sites published.
We got tired of people blaming us for random spam sites that had been disabled and were showing our default or disabled page. Somehow everyone thought we were the company behind the spam (you have no idea the kind of messages I’ve received from people…I’ve seen people’s anatomy I didn’t want to see). We’re hoping this will make it more clear that we’re just the software, we have nothing to do with the hosting or the owner of the site.

But now we get it all instead. I rather like the old idea of the dumb “under construction” page no links to follow just nothing of any merit sort of puts people off until a really useful site is put up. There are just too many bots (thank you google etc) and dumb web scrapers out there searching for links and email addresses to spam.
I think this is a smart idea to tackle these problems. For the normal users like us Stegan, we will replace the default page anyway, right?
Just one more thing to remember to do.
(Thankfully File Manager makes it much easier than it used to be)
