I’d be down for that. The --minimal flag excludes both (but also excludes most of the mail processing stack and doesn’t setup IMAP/POP3 and SASL, by default so it’s not a general solution).
The ability to make custom bundles is in the new installer, it’s just proven to be a lot of work to make them and test them across all 9 of our distro/version combos.
I mean, they’ll obviously stick around as options, but making them part of the default installation does seem unnecessary. I dunno, we’d need to talk it out. A lot of people still use them. I mean, we get bug reports instantly when problems arise.
