Need Support, Can't Find It

20.04:

There doesn’t appear to be a support ticket system, or any way to contact the staff via the Contact Page any longer. I can’t even send a PM yet. So, I guess I’ll post this here.

I have been running one seat of Virtualmin since last November and it works great. I just purchased a second license, for an Ubuntu 20.04 VPS account and the installation fails. Below is the tail of the log entries. Any ideas? Thanks.

It got broken during the migration last night. But, should be fixed as of two minutes ago.

I’m finding software.virtualmin.com is quite slow right now, and I’m not sure if that’s because of the sudden influx of authentications slowing down our database (normally it’d be cached locally but now it’s pulling from a different server), or something else. I’m working on it as fast as I can.

When you say you can’t PM, the forum won’t let you send a private message to @staff? That may be something else I have to fix. I didn’t even think about maybe the anti-spam rules in Discourse preventing PMs for new users. Sorry about that. This is all new stuff. I have no idea what I’m doing yet.

I can’t send a private message to anyone. There is no link to start a new message. I assume it was because this was my first posts here. All I could do was reply to the automatic PM.

I’ll figure out the PM thing ASAP. I think we can share roles and groups between WordPress and Discourse, but I haven’t figured out how yet, but that will allow us to treat Pro users differently (like not having to have some posts to be able to PM). I’m sorting it out as fast as I can.

I also probably just fixed license validations, as well, so I think Virtualmin license stuff should all be sorted out (so you can install and when Virtualmin checks for limits it should also get the right info). I’m testing now, to be sure.

Hello. I ran into another snag and I can’t figure out how to deal with it. I currently have two license subscriptions. I got a second one to facilitate a move to a different hosting account. I am now set up on that account and I no longer need the first license. There doesn’t appear to be any way to cancel the old license in my account area, although the FAQ says that there is. The license that needs to be cancelled is serial #: 5581954. Can you help? Thanks again. Eric

FWIW, I can’t just cancel the subscription for the old one because as soon as I ordered a second license, they got bundled together into one subscription.
