I am having a difficult time understanding Jailkit.
- I have installed it.
- Updated the Default Server Template Chroot jail new domain Unix users? to yes
- Edited Server Owner Limts->OtherRestrictions->Chroot jail domain Unix user? To yes
When I create a Virtual Server I can see that it is being set up via:
Setting up chroot jail …
… jail directory is now /home/chroot/158362951415346
I can see that those directories have been set up. However, when I SFTP or SSH into the server I am not restricted to the home directory.
Can someone help me understand this better?
Most of the information that I have searched for seems very old.
