Minimal VMin config for static website hosting on 512MB of RAM

Hello. What are the names of services/components that one can disable to save RAM on a server where you only host static websites and don’t do anything else?

I know what can be disabled from the Webmin/Servers list but I have no Idea about how each of those servers are named under Webmin/System/Bootup and Shutdown so I don’t know HOW to disable them.

You can check the documentation and go with the minimal install Automated Virtualmin Installation – Virtualmin

You should do what @vtrh suggests, of course, but 512 MB is rather limited and you will have to tweak Virtualmin beyond what a minimal install can do out of the box to be able to offer even static hosting on that limited an amount of RAM.

You could also seek professional help from Virtualmin consultants if you need custom configuration beyond what the links above offer.

Yes, I see how that could be a problem for someone who is unable to associate web server with Apache / Nginx. The terminology used in the two screens is different. But Bootup and Shutdown is in Webmin, not Virtualmin, and Webmin assumes that the user knows what he is doing when he selects services.
