But, also note that this can be exacerbated by local DNS issues, too. If DNS is slow, it’ll make the IP check slow (but it shouldn’t be happening like this, so both DNS and the IP check will go away as a potential source of delay).

I don’t know if possible clues are appreciated.
I left my Vmin sitting on the standard Vmin server list screen for about 2 hours, then tried Create and it just sat there with the red line moving. After 2 minutes I clicked the server list again, then create again and it was still sitting there. I then went to Webmin tab, menu on the left changed, but main screen didn’t. Selecting anything on the Webmin menu did nothing. Ended up logging out then back in again.
I then switched to another browser tab that was for a Webmin only mail server and trying to move away from the screen it was on (firewalld rules display) also stalled and I had to log out then back in from that also.
This is new behaviour for both servers.
Sorry, I wanted to test leaving it sitting so haven’t tried with the DNS IP set.
