Install SSL custom (self-signed) certificate for Virtualmin

Operating system: debian
OS version:10

hi guys, I would like to know if there is any way I can secure virtualmin/webmin login page on port 10000 with my own ssl client certificate. I know how to deploy that and set it up for normal domains… however I need to be sure that if I set this up to webmin/virtualmin the login page will be using my own cert on any domain : port 10000 before I deploy my new hardware… so I can open that port on my fw again.

Example: use my own ssl certificate = working as expected use lets encrypt ssl certificate

when accessing will that path be using
lets encrypt ssl certificate or it will use my own ssl certificate?

Thank you!

Yes, it is all possible using Webmin ⇾ Webmin Configuration: SSL Encryption / Upload Certificate page.

As an aside, it sounds like you’re wanting to use the cert for requests on, which will result in security errors in the browser.

thank you all…
