Hi all… I installed CentOS 5 with “desktop” support and nothing else. Rebooted, verified network connection.
I wgetted the install.sh, ran it, and it’s been sitting at “enabling quotas” for about 30 minutes on a 500 GB disk. Is this typical?
If not, what should I do?
Thanks.

No, unfortunately, that’s not very typical
Enabling quotas should be a simple action, regardless of the disk size, because no users with quotas actually exist yet.
In your /root/virtualmin_install.log file, what are the last few lines you see in there? Are there any obvious errors or problems?
If you don’t see any errors, I’d let it sit for a little longer… just in case!
But at an hour or so, if it’s still sitting there, we may need to dig a bit deeper to figure out what’s going on.

Ah… actually, it seemed to have just finished… thanks. Took about 40 minutes or something… thanks again.
