What I did was upon Virtual Server creation, I did not put the external IP I wanted to use in, so I attempted to change it in DNS below.
In Virtualmin > Server Configuration > DNS Records, If I need to change IP addresses and I uncheck the Validate Records, it still gives me an error due to validation error. So it is not ignoring validation like I am asking.
What I ended up doing to get around this was to delete the Virtual Server and then re-create it with the correct IP I wanted.
I am Pre-Setting up this server for migration, so while the information “will” be correct, it currently is NOT, but that is not my concern since I am aware of what I am doing.
This is a “non-issue” right now for me, I just wanted you to be aware of it, I just ran into this while setting up a fresh instance of Ubuntu v22.04
Thanks
