I can't see the email messages

Hi

I have imported my websites and emails from cpanel. But in some emails accounts, I can’t see them trough an email cliente or roundcube. I only see through webmin.

In the /var/log/mail.log appears this message

How can I fix it?

I struggled with importing emails too.

This is the note I left to myself, maybe it is of some help. As a note, I took only the emails from and old filesystem server backup. (I let myself the source that inspired me the solution, maybe check it out, too)

“TO move mails sudo cp -a previous/Maildir/* next/Maildir
sudo cp -a /backup/MAILDIR/* /home/[server]/homes/[account]/Maildir
postfix - Merge ~/Maildir between two servers that use system accounts - Server Fault”

How did you migrate? Did you use virtualmin migrate?

just use the terminal

please see that * after the previous Maildir path to copy all what’s inside, than is a space, than is the new folder path, including Maildir

And don’t copy any of the dovecot files, only Maildir folders for mails.

It will work fine

Hopefully you have the same setup as I have…, please double check before you try

I’m asking on the original post regarding importing, you seem to have separate issue.
Maybe try a sync of the mail

or
https://doc.dovecot.org/3.0/man/doveadm-force-resync.1/

That may help op as well
