I am getting Security Warnings

Security Warning
Warning! Webmin has detected that the program https://65.23.129.163:10000/left.cgi?mode=virtualmin&dom=123364466814646 was linked to from an unknown URL, which appears to be outside the Webmin server. This may be an attempt to trick your server into executing a dangerous command.

If your browser does not send the Referer header needed, you can turn off this check as follows :

* Login to Webmin normally.
* Go to the Webmin Configuration module.
* Click on the Trusted Referrers icon.
* Check the Trust links from unknown referrers box, and click Save.

And also:

Security Warning
Warning! Webmin has detected that the program https://65.23.129.163:10000/mysql/view_table.cgi was linked to from an unknown URL, which appears to be outside the Webmin server. This may be an attempt to trick your server into executing a dangerous command.

I don’t know what these cgi scripts are - as far as I know, I don use any cgi at all. Unless it is something that VirtualMin is doing.

It says “Login to Webmin normally.”

Well I usually do that at https://65.23.129.163:10000/

but this comes up on my login page !

so now I don’t know how to login

Ok

Now instaed of just hitting the refresh button,
I closed that window and started again
a new one.

This time I got in.

But I am still a bit concerned about those warnings.

Have I been hacked or something ?

That message occurs whenever the “Referrer” header in your browser doesn’t match what Webmin thinks it should be.

Why did you get that message above? I’m not really sure, it’s possible something along the line was cached in some odd fashion.

However, I don’t think it’s indicating anything is wrong with your server.
