How to modify Webmin.

Greetings to All,

I’m using Webmin to manage my Samba installation but it does not work as it should.

When I run testparam -s on the server it displays:

Load smb config file from /usr/PCBSD/local/etc/smb.conf.

When I try to edit that config file from Webmin it acts on the file:

Editing Samba configuration file /usr/local/etc/smb.conf and not
/usr/PCBSD/local/etc/smb.conf.

How or where can that be changed in Webmin?

In Webmin go to the Samba Windows File Sharing module and find the line that says, “Location of the Samba configuration file” (The first line) and you can edit your file location there.

(If you don’t see it you can use the Search Bar and look for samba. One of the results will be Location of the Samba configuration file.)
