You need to provide more information with your question… There is NO variable SMTP_HOST…
It’s used in the Edit Server Template, Mail client auto-configuration form.
<hostname>$SMTP_HOST</hostname>
It shows as “mail” now but I want to change it to “smtp” as I wan’t to use an external outgoing mail server.
There will probably be more issues, so I would also appreciate any input from people that have done something similar, or even been able to get the auto-configure to work - especially with Outlook.
If you are changing this to an external smtp server than remove the variable altogether and enter the full smtp address.
I was planning to make it smtp.domain.com to match each domain, though I haven’t tested to see if that causes complications with eg security certificates.
You could just change it to smtp.$SMTP_DOMAIN
.
