How to copy Basic System Info when using Framed Theme?

as many will recall, Copy Basic System Info is a button on Authentic Theme in the upper right corner of System Information – it looks like a tiny clipboard :smile:

is there an easy way to do the same thing (copy info) when using the older Framed Theme ?? I think the most common use for the function (Copy Basic Info) is to collect info to paste into a forum post such as this.

There is no simple way to do this in Framed Theme. Sorry! This is complicated feature and only available in Authentic Theme.

We should make a CLI command for it, though…that’d be useful, I think.

I don’t see how it would be useful to have CLI command for this, as we already have this available on the UI.

I think as ‘copy and paste’ of the text. But the UI version isn’t well known and a cli version would be less known. There aren’t a lot of regulars here. People show up when they have a question or problem and that’s a pretty transient bunch.

I wonder how many folk are still using the older (less useful) theme - especially as the newer “Authentic Theme” is now on v.21.09.20 but then I have heard that the abacus still has its users :heart:

ok ok ok — another reason I guess for me to try, yes TRY, to move away from Framed Theme and at least spend a little time using Authentic :smile:
