Hi Peeps,
Sorry to bring this topic up yet again (its a bit like a bad soap opera).
Spam is beginning to be a bit more of a problem again. I have greylisting enabled and Spamassassin running as spamc.
Some particularly vulgar emails are getting through and I am trying to sort out why. I checked out the headers of some of them and it seems that the originating IP is listed in, among many others, Spahhaus XBL but the headers don’t list a hit for that.
Headers :-
X-Spam-Status: No, score=3.3 required=5.0 tests=BAYES_00,HTML_MESSAGE, URIBL_BLACK,XPRIO autolearn=no version=3.3.1
Blocklist :-
http://www.abuseat.org/lookup.cgi?ip=82.165.157.17
Of course I could be misunderstanding that blocklist, I searched on Spamhaus and it returned a listing as above.
Anyway, I have searched and followed the forum posts on this and it seems that Spamhaus should already be in use but I cannot find any trace anywhere. Can anyone point me in the right direction please.
Thanks
Tim
