How are the domains counted in the non-unlimited versions of Virtualmin? IOW, does Virtualmin 10 allow 10 domains with any number of subdomains, or is it 10 total virtual servers?

If a domain has separate content, it’s counted. If it doesn’t (i.e. it’s an alias), it isn’t. The default sub-domains (www, m, mail, ftp) are not counted, as they are aliases (though m will eventually have optional separate content for mobile devices).
