Hide some websites from user

hello, i hired a developer for my website and he need acess to edit database and i dont want him to see the other websites…at first i give him limited permissions user but i cant add the edit database for some reason, and after i created a privilage user and tried to use [Permissions for all modules] to only show the domain he need to work on but i cant really want it for some reason? can anyone help plz :confused:

No. You went the wrong direction. Just give the domain owner user permission to edit/create databases. Creating a new Webmin user that is tightly restricted is quite time-consuming and complicated, and not recommended. You have to dig down into all the ACLs and stuff that Virtualmin handles automatically.

You want Manage Virtual Server->Edit Owner Limits

You never need to leave Virtualmin to manage stuff a Virtualmin user would need to do. If you ever find yourself clicking the Webmin tab for anything other than system administration tasks, you’re probably going the wrong way, and should spend more time poking around in Virtualmin.

You can also make this (and just about anything else) the default for new virtual servers, of course, via Server Templates and Account Plans.
