Virtualmin is wonderful but I found the SSL procedure s big problem - then there was certbot - it is so simple to use - the only problem I have with it is when I remove a site from virtualmin - it can be quite serious with my setup (ubuntu lamp). When I tried to add a site apache would not start - I rolled back twice with known good backups and it still refused to start - this was because a site that I deleted four weeks ago had a certificate and I had to remove it from httpd and another - because vmin did not install it
Now I just run certbot every few weeks and it updates all ssl’s that need it
