Gmail Pop3 access not working

Virtualmin version: 7.30.8 Pro

Dovecot IMAP/POP3 Server Version: 2.3.16

I have a very strange problem with my server. I installed Virtualmin using its installer on a brand new server. Everything installed perfectly and started up without an error. I shifted multiple domains from previous server using Virtualmin backups. All backups restored without any problems. The sites went online and emails started working.

But then one of my clients contacted me that he wanted to use Gmail as his primary mailbox. He wanted his gmail to fetch emails from the pop3 on our server. This should work out of the box, unfortunately for me, despite 2 months of trying I am unable to solve the problem. kindly guide me on how I can get this done. All services are running perfectly.

But Gmail is unable to connect using the login password shown on the configuration page.

I just tested and works fine.
Please supply what settings you are using. gmail does a POP connection so what port number and are you using ssl?
These settings are show in virtualmin via client email setting

Also client login failures can cause fail2ban to block the IP.

Your server works fine, but Gmail can’t connect to POP3 with the password.
Check Gmail settings and firewall to allow the connection.
