For some reason all outgoing mail is now taking almost three minutes to complete.
I am using fedora 15 , sendmail , and I use roundcube webmail.
Any ideas?

Do you see any errors, warnings, or problems of any sorts in the logs? Those are in /var/log/maillog.

No errors being reported
I suppose we’d need much more detailed information about this issue, for example (but not limited to) how exactly are you sending email, from where to where, using what software. We’d also need detailed log excerpts of the time when the attempt takes place.
Turns out it was a century link issue.
