No DMARC Record found, this means that your domain does not have a published DMARC record.
oh oh…so how do i register…to who? to be DMARC enabled?
oh oh…so how do i register…to who? to be DMARC enabled?
you may not be using Virtualmin as your DNS server then, whats you dns settings at your registrar
you mean the domain name? Aplus i believe
or hosting…that would be a vultr
Ok same as me, so you created a DNS there, you need to edit that. Turn off DNS on your Virtual Server as that will cause issues.
Also once off you will see suggested records
handy for the SPF and DKIM
you mean like in this window, to turn off my DNS ?
only place i can see to do anything about DNS on vultr
Bingo add the record there, check the suggested record in Virtualmin.
Vultr automatically adds a record CNAME * to cover all names needed, like www. mail. webmail.
uhm…what record ? you mean
> published DMARC record
like where do i get one …this record? i mean i can start to figure out how to put it into the vultr DNS, but i dont know where to get a record? or from who to ask to get one lol
The hardest one to copy in is the DKIM as you need to edit it and remove the brackets and remove the quotes except for the first and last. Vultr only excepts that format.
sorry …that went over my head like a Frisbee …tryen …sorry…im lost
stuck on whats a record and where to get one
Like i said, the Virtualmin will publish the suggested records. Just copy SPF and DKIM
Vultr click Add record and make them TXT records.
I appreciate it…i understand if this gets way difficult to work with me…im working it out pretty slow here
not seeing the same suggested DNS inside of my virtualmin
wild …just my kinda reality lol
sorry …tryen to find where that screen is to disable it still
edit virtual server, the top of screenshot
found it in * [ Edit Virtual Server]
