Downgrade license after unwanted change to pro

Hello all
Been using Virtualmin GPL for many years, just own wordpress sites, never needed to upgrade to pro.
A couple of days ago, the Authentic theme updated to 20.01.1:5 and I got a nag notification to upgrade Virtualmin to Pro. Clicked on the option on the far right (“no, do not upgrade” or “I’ll think about it later”) but, for some reason, it changed the license to pro and now I get another nag notification saying the license is not valid and I need to buy a licence.
I don’t need the pro version, tried using the downgrade procedure using the command " virtualmin downgrade-licence --downgrade" and get the message “GPL version is already installed!”, but the nag notification remains, even after a reboot and refreshing the authentic theme stats.
Any suggestions on how to solve this?
Thanks in advance and best regards
Alex
