Does virtualmin offer some sort of email redundancy like with bind dns?

So, I have 2 VPS’ (1.mail.domain.net & 2.mail.domain.net, both running virtualmin with the --minimal argument) acting as slaves and 1 physical server that acts as the master. Is it possible to have some sort of email redundancy so if one VPS goes down, say 1.mail.domain.net goes down but 2.mail.domain.net is still up, the email will still be received and accessed when I log in to my mail client?

Hello @BluCobalat,

Have you seen https://www.virtualmin.com/documentation/email/hold-and-forward and https://www.virtualmin.com/documentation/id%2Chold_and_forward_backup_mail_server_quickstart but this requires a subscription to Virtualmin Pro. There is another tutorial here https://cheesefather.com/2012/01/postfix-automated-backupsecondary-email-server-with-virtualmin/ which does not require Virtualmin Pro.

That looks good, thanks @calport!
