Dns question regarding almalinux 9 and virtualbox with virtualmin installed

using virtualbox and installing alma linux everything was fine until an hour or 2 hours dns stop responding dns was not working at all, is there such a problem with virtualmin and almalinux 9?

or it happen because it was on virtualbox and not active server on the internet?

Check your logs, I use Rocky and have had no issues.

No, that’s a silly assumption.

Random process death is usually the OOM killer. But, you’ll need to poke around in the logs to see why it stopped.

dns stop responding dns was not working at all

If BIND DNS service was still running and you’re hosting it from home you either need to setup Addresses and Networking ⇾ Dynamic IP Update or better get a static IP address from your ISP.
