Ok.
I have the current setup
Its all set in a datacenter, Virtualmin is behind a firewall (pfsense)
Have several domains on it, working dns and working reverse dns.
All works great
Now i want to take it a step futher, have Virtualmin forward subdomain names to a internal ip.
The idea behind it is that i can forward anything to any machine internaly.
I have a full /24 external block, but that being used up fast.
We are also a voip provider and new machines are popping like rabbits and are consuming the external ip’s
The plan is to use virtualmin as forward / proxy so only 3 ip’s are used for evrything thats in and behind virtualmin.
like voip01.domain.nl > 10.0.0.11 , voip02.domain.nl > 10.0.0.12
Yes i know pfsense can do this for me, but i already have to many systems to maintain and want to centralize management as much as possible.
I find virtualmin a great system and like to expand it way futher then intended.
