Disable / Remove Letsencrypt from Virtualmin - Solved -

Virtualmin version 6.17-3

I have found a topic about this issue posted by l0rd a year ago, but the answer did not help me and since it is closed, I have opened this one.

There is a “new” option that try to Request Let’s Encrypt certificate at domain creation time, that by default is set to YES, and in my case, like l0rd, also gives me a headache…

What I have found is that you can disable this option on:

Virtualmin → System Settings → Virtualmin Configuration → SSL Settings

Then set to NO the option: Request Let’s Encrypt certificate at domain creation time?

That is it!

Yes, automatic external lets encrypt should be disabled by default. Or system use self generated and then edit later to use a proper one once dns has propagated.
