Configure for self-hosted email AND GSuite?

Scenario: Company has a Virtualmin VPS that they use to host their website. They want to give a couple of their employees GSuite accounts, and they will use GSuite email (with their domain). For the rest of their employees, and addresses like (noreply@domain.com and general@domain.com) they want to use self-hosted email via Webmin/Virtualmin/Whatever webclient they choose.

So dan@domain.com would use Gsuite, and Susan@domain.com would use the self-hosted email on the VPS.

Is this even possible?

What configuration has to be done to allow them to use Gsuite for some addresses, and self-hosted email for others?

Hi,

Yes, it’s possible to split a delivery.

Indeed @Ilia. We have been offering this as a service for many years.

All our hybrid email services are on servers running Virtualmin, naturally.
