Have you ever considered spinning up a Moodle Server for documentation instead of the Drupal way? They have a fuck ton of cool automation for educators like glossaries and footnoting, and [rabbit-hole]…
A plethroa of people worldwide have Moodleing skills so you could look into outsourcing the conversion into that. A great job for out of work educators with new children to work from home.
Cloudmin is getting a major overhaul as we speak. I don’t recommend embarking on a new install right now, but in a couple/few weeks, it’ll be a really nice experience, and we’ll have updated docs to go along with it.
We haven’t used Drupal in something like five years. Our documentation is a Hugo site, the web shop is WordPress with WooCommerce and our forum is Discourse. No Drupal anywhere in the stack, and I am incredibly relieved to be free of it (I’m sure they have good reasons for the way they do things, but for me, the incredibly painful migration process required to upgrade from 6 to 7 and then from 7 to 8 was absolutely disqualifying, I’ll never use it again…Drupal feels like it is designed to sell Drupal professional services).

We’re wrapping up a new Virtualmin 8.2.0 release, including a new Podman plugin, and I’ll soon be focusing full-time on Cloudmin.
I expect we’ll have a fully functional Cloudmin with complete documentation by the end of June, likely sooner!

This will most likely be later than the end of June. We were significantly slowed down by the new Webmin 2.650 release.
We shouldn’t promise deadlines, because every time we do, we end up missing them. I’m still determined to start work on Cloudmin 10 after the Virtualmin 8.2.0 release.

Don’t promise, offer them. They are guidelines anyway. Most people understand sometimes this run over. In lew of these, I personally prefer roadmaps as they provide a general idea when a release will be ready.
