New OS from scratch which destroys everything else on the disk.

I asked for and did not receive commercial support, why?
I was told that the problem isn’t with vurtualmin but I don’t care who the problem is, I asked for support to optimize my small server, obviously paying for the work

What support do you think that you need, what would help you best?

I agree with ID10T that if you don’t have a spare server then:

Rent a cheap server temporarily - a few hours to a day.
Transfer your existing web sites to it, possibly setting up Virtualmin first.
Then reformat your existing server and install your OS from scratch.
Install Virtualmin to your server.
Transfer the web sites back to your server then cancel the rented server.

Minimal down time for your web sites and get the best result.

You can’t install Virtualmin to a server that is already running websites etc., as it won’t be able to find and manage them which defeats the purpose of having Virtualmin.

The fee for the commercial support is for the product and it is mainly a small fee to support software development.

You can post in the jobs category for what you want.

I asked how Walter went about asking for commercial help, as I didn’t see such a post.

You could, however we don’t recommend it, as it would be much harder and time consuming work.
