The checksums for the webmin downloads on the site (Downloading and Installing | Webmin) do not currently match the actual downloads with exception of the solaris .pkg, all the rest show different checksums than what the site says they should be.
Just a lapse in remembering to update the site or is there a potential issue?
There’s a bunch of changes happening on the backend in how Webmin is built and deployed. I imagine this is fallout from that. I’ll ask @Jamie (who builds the packages) and @Ilia (who made the new website) for confirmation and maybe an update.
Thanks for the heads up. Indeed checksums aren’t matching. This is an oversight though, not a security issue. We will fix that!
Also, you shouldn’t really use manual downloads – setup repos!
I can’t help it, I’m a bit aged in my familiarity in setting up webmin on personal servers lol.
I’ll take a look at the new repo thing though when I have time

Ok I’ve updated the checksums and updated the release process so they are synced in future…
