Changing the document root in one virtual server

Operating system: Ubuntu
18.04

I have 8 websites on the server and all of them use public_html I have a new domain for which I need public to be the document root. I changed the server template and I created a new virtual server. But when I try to access it I just get a blank screen. How can I solve the problem? I only need this one virtual server to have the changed document root not all of them

Hi,

At the moment you would need to manually rename existing ~/public_html to ~/public.

I just tried renaming the public_html to public and although renaming is no problem, I just get a “Forbidden” when trying to access it as a web page. Obviously just renaming doesn’t work. What other settings must I change?
