Chage Shared IP address

Hello

My server admin changed the IP, because they migrated the server to a new provider. Now I can login into Webmin by my ip:10000.

After that the site is not working. Then after a small google search, I have changed my domain Hostmane setting for nameserver ( on Godaddy ) and have changed the IPs on BIND DNS Server ( Edit Master Zone ) page on Virtualmin.

But I still cant edit the IP which is on the page " Virtual Server Details" .

well, anyhow, can you please help me to do the necessary settings to get my site back? Its a WordPress site so I am using sql also.

My Virtualmin version: 4.14.gpl

Under the Networking and address I dont have any choice to update the IP. ( Screen shot attached )

to explain in other words,
when I goto the domain it shows, that Apache 2 test page. And inside the webmin DNS, all IPs are changes. When I open the file manager, all files are there. But the domain didnt load the website under public_html folder. It shows only the Apache test page.

The only place the old IP shown is on the Virtual server detail page. I have attached the screen shot here too.

now everything looks good but the site didnt load the page in public_html.

Please help.

Howdy,

In the screenshot you shared above, you’re logged in as the Virtual Server owner.

You would actually need to log in as the root user in order to change the IP address in the Addresses and Networking screen.

I have found the root account and reset the password via Terminal. Now everything is fine.
